High School:
A multi-sport and highly decorated athlete, Hewitt excelled playing volleyball, basketball, and softball for the Hurley Northstars. The 5'9" guard/forward received all conference awards for every year of her 4-year varsity basketball career. She was 3rd team all-conference as freshman, 1st team as a sophomore, 2nd team as a junior and 1st team and player of the year as a senior. Hewitt also earned an Honorable Mention to the WBCA Division 5 All-State Team.
She was named valedictorian of her graduating class.
