The Bobcats from Bryant & Stratton rolled past the GCC Samsons 81-29 on Wednesday, February 8th. The contest was held on the campus of Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI.  

The Bobcats showed their athleticism and strength right off the bat as they jumped out to a 10-0 lead.  Their size, quickness, and tough defense initially flustered the Samsons, and they turned the ball over early.  GCC finally got on the board with 6:11 left in the first quarter as Phoenix Corbine scored inside.  Turnovers and a low shooting percentage hurt GCC throughout the quarter and the Bobcats ended the quarter up 20-5. Although the Samsons only managed to score 5 points in the first quarter, Bryant & Stratton's defense only intensified throughout the second quarter as they only allowed 2 points from the GCC.  The Bobcats led 46-7 at halftime. 

The Samsons started to find some offense in the third quarter.  GCC's 12-point quarter was led by Emily Nelson who scored 7 straight points to start the quarter.  The Bobcats led 60-19 at the end of the third quarter.  GCC scored 10 points in the final quarter as the Bobcats continued to roll and Bryant & Stratton secured the victory, 81-29.

GCC was led by Kylee Hewitt who scored 8 points and Nelson chipped in 7 points for the Samsons.  The Samsons (14-6) finish the regular season on Wednesday, February 15th as they hit the road to face Northland Community & Technical College.
