STUDENT ACTIVITIES
Get Involved
Ever tried Knockerball? Want to write for the college newspaper? Interested in running for student government?
Student Activities provides a wide variety of opportunities for students to get involved outside the classroom. Meet other students, have some fun, network, get involved in the community and enhance your overall college experience.
There are so many ways to get involved at Gogebic Community College. There are student organizations and clubs, recreational clubs, tutor clubs, intramural and recreational activities, and many other events that, as a student, you can participate in. After all, learning should be part studying, part socializing, and part exploring.
Enjoy your time here at Gogebic Community College.
INTRAMURAL & RECREATIONAL ATHLETICS
Stay Active!
If you’re interested in keeping busy, but don’t necessarily want to compete at the collegiate level, join an intramural team instead.
GCC offers intramural and recreational sports ranging from kayaking, snowboarding, snow tubing, flag football, snowshoeing, golf, dodgeball, kayaking, soccer, disc golf, volleyball, basketball, and walking/running track, and weight room activities.
College is much more than books and classrooms.
