Ironwood High School’s standout athlete, Hanna Vaughn, is taking her talents to the next level, officially signing to play both basketball and volleyball at Gogebic Community College (GCC). Vaughn, a multi-sport athlete known for her dedication and leadership, will continue her athletic and academic journey with the Samsons starting this fall.
Throughout her high school career, Vaughn has been a key player for the Red Devils both in basketball and volleyball. GCC coaches are equally thrilled to welcome Vaughn to the program. “Hanna is a talented and hardworking athlete (both on the court and academically), who will make an immediate impact on both our volleyball and basketball teams. Her want to win is exciting for all of us,” said Coach Sharrow-Volleyball.
Basketball Head Coach Sharrow states, "We're thrilled to have Hanna. She's a competitor that will make a big impact on our programs culture. She has all of the accolades and skill, but I'm most excited for her competitiveness on the floor. "
Vaughn’s signing continues a tradition of local athletes choosing GCC to further their athletic careers while receiving a quality education.
Congratulations to Hanna Vaughn on this exciting new chapter with the Gogebic Community College Samsons!
