The GCC Samsons MBB recently signed Toure James from Ocala, Florida.  Toure is a 6’ 1” point guard and 2025 graduate of North Marion High School.

“I’m pleased to add Toure James to our 2025-26 Samson roster. During the past two seasons we’ve received solid guard play from the Ocala area grads Cori Johnson and X’Zavion McCoy, now we’re counting on Toure James to add to our good fortune.

Toure James will add speed, quickness, & athleticism to the 2025-26 Samsons roster. Not only is he quick, but Toure has good length which allows him to rebound against bigger opponents and cause havoc in passing lanes while playing defense. His solid ball skills will allow Toure to play the point for us offensively while his overall athleticism will provide energy to our defensive pressure. “ ~ Coach Mackey
