The Gogebic Samsons recently signed Lane Laux a 6’2” guard/forward from Houghton High School.

Coach Dennis Mackey: “I’m pleased to announce the signing of Lane Laux to our Samson basketball program. Lane’s a very good perimeter shooter with a developing post game as well. He comes from a successful Houghton Gremlin  team that finished 17-5 in 2024-25. Most importantly, Lane is a talented & hard-working U.P. student-athlete who wants to further his education while playing basketball at Gogebic Community College!”
