The GCC Samsons recently signed Tyson Klingman from Watersmeet, Michigan. Tyson is a 2023 graduate of Watersmeet High School where he helped lead the 2022-23 Nimrod basketball team to an MHSAA District Championship.

I watched Tyson's skillset & leadership abilities up close during summer leagues when he was playing for the Nimrods - and I liked what I saw. Tyson is a 6'4" power forward type player who is a strong rebounder, solid shooter, and willing passer of the basketball. Like most athletes, he'll need to adjust to the speed & size of the competition at the college level – once he does adjust, Tyson has the tools to be a productive player for the Samsons!
