Noel Aho enters her third year as the Head Coach of the GCC Softball team in 2020-2021 after getting the program off the ground in 18-19 for the Samson’s inaugural softball season.  Aho’s coaching experience spans several decades and includes building another program from the ground up.   Prior to taking the helm of the Samson softball program Aho was the first Varsity Head Coach at Ironwood High School from 2010-2014.  In addition to coaching softball Aho was the head coach of the women’s basketball at Ironwood High School from 2010-2014. 

Coach Aho’s Ironwood teams were no strangers to success appearing in three District Championships while earning a conference Championship in 2013, garnering Coach of the Year honors for Aho.
